I've always been passionate about food! I was able to fulfill a lifelong dream and attended the Western Culinary Institute in 2004. I no longer cater events, or offer private chef services, but still love to cook! I have researched the dangers of High fructose corn syrup, MSG (an artificial flavoring agent created to mask bitterness), and Aspartame (a toxin found in diet sodas, sugar free products, etc). Since removing these items from my diet I have found a renewed sense of health and well being. When possible, I believe in buying Organic/"in season" products, and supporting our local Farmers Markets. I love cultivating a garden every year. I enjoy picking fruit and berries in the summer. I have two wonderful children, a daughter (16yrs old), and a son (14 yrs old).
